Based on the PBS-broadcast short film Buttercup. Emmie is a high school senior who earns some money babysitting. When a night sitting for a kid in gated community known as The Heights goes terribly wrong, Emmie and her friends Rashmi and Georgia discover something insidious lurking in the rich part of town. A murderous child, a sinister cult, a diabolical creature from another dimension – that’s just the beginning of a girl-powered adventure in which the fate of the entire world hangs in the balance.
